TB Vets Financial Reports

Donations received from our supporters help purchase vital respiratory equipment for BC hospitals, fund ongoing TB research and education, provide employment for people with disabilities and support the education of tomorrow's Respiratory Therapists.

TB Vets has donated over $10 million across BC to help children and adults across the province. Each year there are more requests for help, and your support can make that happen.

2007 Donation Report: Your Dollars in Action

Lose your keys, get them back! Your keytag donation supports respiratory health in British Columbia. Display your keytag proudly—it demonstrates that you help BC breathe, and protects the valuables on your key chain. If you ever lose your keys, have you considered the cost to replace your car keys, house keys, office keys, keyless entry fobs, garage remotes and so on? A new set of keys can cost up to $600 or more! Not to mention the hassle!

Last year we returned 2,200 sets of lost keys. That’s an average of six sets a day, seven days a week. You may not have ever lost your keys, but it can happen. We have returned almost 200,000 sets since 1946. The next ones could be yours.

Not only are you supporting respiratory health with your keytag donation, you also support employment for people with disabilities. These are the people you talk to when you call. They make the keytags, process your donation, and return your lost keys.

Our donations have reached a plateau over the past several years at $2.3 million. However, the need for hospital equipment, bursaries for Respiratory Therapy students, and research into TB and respiratory diseases still continues to grow. More than ever, BC needs your support!

We want to raise awareness across BC of who we are and what we do, and there are many ways you can help us.

Tell your friends and family about TB Vets. Tell them about the keytag program and how everyone in BC benefits from the support we provide to hospitals. Tell them that we do it all strictly from your donations, with no government support.

Consider us when you prepare your will. A legacy gift will help us serve the next generation. There are many ways to make a legacy gift, from a simple bequest to a charitable life insurance policy. View our Planned Giving page for more information.

Thank you so much for your support of TB Vets Charitable Foundation. We are only able to do our work because of you.

Sincerely,

Ron Goyette
Executive Director
