Lung problems at all ages: Respiratory Disease Strikes Young, Old, and Even the Famous
October 29th, 2008 by Yoane TomThe general public thinks that lung diseases such as tuberculosis, asthma and COPD are strictly reserved for older people. I will prove you wrong by giving the example of Amy Winehouse.
Last week end, the 25 year-old signer was being tested for lung problems. She had been warned by doctors a few months ago but her cigarettes and crack addiction spoke for themselves. Her father & her spokesman aren’t thinking the same things about what could happen in her future. Her father says she was previously told to be careful but her spokesman told several media that it’s just regular stuff.
It’s true that her lifestyle affects her chances of developing lung problems at a young age, but still, she shows it’s possible for anyone to get lung issues. TB Vets will keep helping finding solutions & innovations in medical science to try to make British Columbians breathe better.
