Careers at TB Vets

We started over 60 years ago in British Columbia. Over the years, TB Vets has evolved into a charitable organization that helps people with life-threatening respiratory issues.

TB Vets operates the leading key return service in BC and personally produces and mails out over 350,000 keytags in our annual campaign. Donations to TB Vets provide funding for: the purchase of vital respiratory equipment in BC hospitals, research into a cure and treatments of TB and other respiratory diseases, and training for respiratory therapists.

Account Manager, Mailing Services

Client Services Data Representative

Account Manager, Mailing Services

TBV Business Solutions, a business unit of TB Vets, requires a full-time Account Manager for mailing services within the business unit. The position will report to the Executive Director/General Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Sales
  2. Bringing in new mail services clients
  3. Identifying new mail service products that would appeal to existing and new customers
  4. Developing sales targets and goals
  5. Assisting with the development of sales and operational policies and procedures
  6. Working with the Mail Services Coordinator and Mail Services Production Manager on day to day tasks
  7. Supervising the sales support staff
  8. Completing annual performance reviews
  9. Providing support to the Executive Director/General Manager

The candidate should demonstrate:

  1. Strong verbal and written communication skills
  2. Good judgment and leadership abilities
  3. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be a self-starter
  4. Excellent organizational and time management skills
  5. Meeting tight deadlines

The ideal candidate should have the following:

  1. Post secondary training in business applications including sales and marketing
  2. Minimum two years experience in the mail services industry
  3. Understanding of Canada Post mailing specifications
  4. Some knowledge of the print industry
  5. Supervisory experience
  6. Conversant with Microsoft Office Suite and web applications
  7. Familiarity with Maximizer an asset
  8. Working knowledge of CRM programs

Client Services Data Representative

Our organization is seeking a Client Services Data Representative. This position is responsible for preparing client mailings and laser printing.

The successful candidate will be required to:

  1. Convert client files to Foxpro database files
  2. Clean and finalize client files
  3. Ensure addresses are up to Canada Post standards
  4. Merge and laser print mailings

To perform this job satisfactorily, the candidate should demonstrate:

  1. Strong computer skills
  2. Be proficient in Office
  3. Attention to detail
  4. Accurate typist
  5. Follow direction
  6. Ability to work on their own

This job requires spending a considerable amount of time working in front of a computer.
