Fore! fun, Fore! prizes, Fore! a BBQ, and especially, Fore! a good cause, Burnaby played at our to our mini golf tournament on March 6, 2008.
Our guests played on a course laid out through our facility. In between the holes, they learned about the work that TB Vets does. Especially, they learned about our business unit, TBV business solutions.
TBV business solutions creates ribbons, awards, trophies and other engraved products, as well as offering direct mail services. TBV business solutions is staffed by people with disabilities, and proceeds go to help BC breathe.

Executive Director Ron Goyette takes a swing.
After their round of golf, guests assembled in our lunchroom for a BBQ dinner. David Sheets, coordinator of the Respiratory Therapy Program at Thompson Rivers University, spoke about the importance of respiratory therapy in hospitals, and Kiley Cindrich, a registered respiratory therapist who recently graduated from TRU, told the crowd about what it’s like to be a respiratory therapist. Your donations help TB Vets provide equipment for the respiratory therapy program at TRU, as well as bursaries for the students.
Many volunteers gave us their time to make this event a success. We would like to thank Liam Blacknik, Cynthia Lee, Roy Sumpter, Laura Cheung, Grace Chien, Sophia Lin, Margurite Ghislieri and Brenda Jacobs for their fantastic work. Without our dedicated volunteers, we would not have been able to put on this event.
This event would not have been possible without our sponsors. TB Vets woud like to thank:
