SecuriTags

Protect your belongings with SecuriTags.
SecuriTags are small stickers that display your driver¹s license number.
They use special glue that was developed by 3M® and adhere to almost any surface. Stick them to your TV, stereo, computer, bicycles, or any other valuable household item. They're even safe for delicate belongings that can¹t be engraved.

If your property is lost or stolen, SecuriTags can help police canidentify the rightful owner when it is recovered.

You can get your own, personal SecuriTags (56 per sheet) by donationthrough TB Vets. We will also send you stickers for your doors and windowsto inform would-be thieves that yourproperty is marked.

SecuriTags for Businesses
Operation Provident is a police initiative to provide businesses with aunique, traceable number to mark company property. TB Vets can provide SecuriTags printed with an Operation Provident number for all of your business property. To sign up for an Operation Provident number, visit the Vancouver Police Department's website.

FAQ: KeyTag Program

I LOST MY KEYS. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
When someone locates your lost keys, they can drop them right into the nearest mailbox – anywhere in Canada. No envelope needed! The KeyTags will be sent back to the TB Vets head office, where we match the registration number to your name and address. Then we send them back to you! 

 

WHAT IF I LOSE MY KEYS OUTSIDE OF CANADA?
If your keys are lost outside of Canada, the finder can still pop them in the post and they will be returned to you. There is a website on the back of the tag that the finder can go to for information on how to return the keys.

 

WHAT IF I MOVE?
If you move within British Columbia, be sure to update your address information with us. Without your current address, we cannot return your keys!

 

IS THE KEYTAG PROGRAM SAFE?
The registration code on your KeyTags is secure. No one can discover where you live from a TB Vets KeyTag. Only TB Vets can access your return mailing address from our protected database.


HOW DOES MY DONATION HELP?
It is not required for you to provide a donation to receive your KeyTags. But all of the money you donate for your KeyTags goes right back to supporting local hospitals and those with disabilities. KeyTag donations have allowed us to contribute over $11 million dollars toward respiratory disease research and education, provide critical respiratory equipment to BC hospitals, and employ people with disabilities who provide your key return service.

 

I'VE FOUND KEYS! WHAT DO I DO?
Just simply pop them in your nearest mail box. No envelope needed. The keys will be sent to us at the TB Vets head office where we assure they get back into the hands of their owner.
