Breathe Life into your Legacy
Over the years TB Vets has honoured the work of the original Tuberculosis Veterans who came back from fighting overseas with TB. When there were no longer Veterans to help directly, we broadened our focus, adding help for people with breathing difficulties. That help now comes in the form of critical equipment for hospitals and care homes as well as education for future generations of respiratory therapists and research into eradicating TB.
More and more, people are asking me what more they can do to make a difference. There are many ways to make a significant gift to charity while still benefiting your own financial situation. I would love to chat with you about the options.

Ways to Make a Gift
Bequest in your Will -- Leaving a bequest in your will is an extremely generous way to make a difference in the lives of those we will help in the future. Most bequests in Canada come from caring people of modest means. If we all left just a little, there would be a bounty to help people in need for generations to come.
Your gift today will make a difference for generations to come.
Charitable Life Insurance -- Through Charity Life Direct, anyone can sign up for a life insurance policy that benefits TB Vets, with a value of up to $50,000. The policy is paid off within five years, and the value will never go down. The payments are tax-deductible. This is an easy way to leave a significant gift to your favourite charity. Learn More
Publicly Traded Securities -- Cash gifts are not always the most tax effective asset to donate. A gift of Publicly Traded Securities can be very attractive because you will owe no capital gains when you transfer ownership to TB Vets.
Charitable Gift Annuity -- A Charitable Gift Annuity is a gift of capital to TB Vets during your lifetime. In return you, the donor, will receive a guaranteed lifetime income or annuity. Charitable Gift Annuities are of interest to people 70 and older who are more concerned about financial security than income growth.
