Life-Saving Equipment to Help You Breathe

Whether you have a sudden respiratory infection like pneumonia, or a chronic disease like asthma, you may need respiratory equipment.

If you are in an accident, need surgery, or suffer from a heart attack or stroke, you may need respiratory equipment. If you drown, choke, or inhale smoke, you may need this equipment. No matter what else may be wrong, breathing is the first concern of health care providers.

That's why respiratory equipment is so important. That's why TB Vets needs your support. Baby needing medical help

Every year TB Vets receives grant requests from medical facilities throughout BC. It is only through your donations that we are able to help fellow British Columbians.

Each request for respiratory equipment is carefully considered based on the needs and requirements of the specific medical community. Applications are accepted year-round and approved at the end of December each year.

Equipment provided by TB Vets is used to test, monitor and assist the breathing of patients with respiratory difficulties. Thanks to our donors, these vital pieces of equipment are saving and improving lives across BC.

Northern Patients Helped Thanks to BC's TB Vets

"On behalf of the Foundation Board and Staff of the Dawson Creek and District Hospital, I would like to extend our appreciation for your generous donation of $25,000 for the purchase of ventilators for the respiratory therapy department. The addition of this equipment means that we are able to provide the best possible care to our northern patients and eliminate their need to travel away form their families to undergo treatment."
