Facing record-breaking inflation and a housing crisis — while trying to excel in her studies — it’s easy for a student to feel overwhelmed. And it’s no exception for Respiratory Therapy (RT) students at Thomson Rivers University.
On top of textbooks and all other University costs, RT students need a key piece of equipment — a stethoscope.
A stethoscope is vital to an RT’s work. It allows her to check the condition of a patients’ lungs — including assessing for conditions such as asthma, pneumonia, or even a collapsed lung.
Today, you can give an RT student a stethoscope that she will carry throughout her career. One high-quality stethoscope costs $160, and with your donation we will write your name on a card to the student who receives it.
