Robert Underhill, Chair of the Board of Directors of TB Vets Charitable Foundation, is pleased to announce the promotion of Kandys Merola to Chief Executive Officer effective July 2020.
Ms. Merola joined TB Vets as Executive Director in 2013 where she played a pivotal role to re-organize and streamline TB Vets’ Key Tag Program. The Foundation has been in a positive financial position to support sustainable operations since.
Under Ms. Merola’s leadership, TB Vets will grant just over one million dollars this year and continue to fulfil its long-standing mission of providing BC hospitals and first responders with respiratory equipment, and to deliver grants for Respiratory Education, and Tuberculosis and Respiratory Research.
Ms. Merola’s valuable business experience and time at TB Vets has further strengthened her deep knowledge and commitment to respiratory health for all British Columbians. She is eternally grateful to the countless loyal donors who have made this possible.
